Yesterday I was in Bristol to do some observations for candidates on the Dip TESOL course. It was a lovely day to be in the South West's biggest city. The sun was shining and the schools were busy. It's so nice to see English schools at this time of year. There seems to be a buzz around. Plenty of international students covering a whole range of different countries.
When observing, I look first of all, at the quality of the lesson plan. There are guidelines about how to correctly complete and fill one out. I then watch the lesson and make judgements on lesson delivery, and the final stage is the lesson evaluation. This takes place after the lesson, and this is where the teacher and I talk about the class and look at different elements in detail.
As the evaluations have not been completed, I can't yet comment on the outcome of the lessons, however, I can say that I enjoyed my time at ELC Bristol, and would like to thank all of the staff for their cooperation and friendly smiles.
